At Happy Renovation Services, we take your privacy seriously and are committed to keeping your data secure. This Privacy Policy explains how we use the personal data that we collect or generate, both in relation to our website and while carrying on our activities and providing you with services. For the purposes of this document, “You” means the customer and “We” means Happy Renovation Technical Services LLC.

The Data We Collect

We collect your name, any phone number(s) you shared with us, your residential address, and any other addresses for which you instructed us to carry out renovation and/or other work.

Communications

By instructing us to carry out work, you agree to receive communication (emails, calls and WhatsApp messages) relating directly to these works. You also agree to opt into our email marketing communication. Should you wish to opt out of further marketing communications, simply click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our marketing emails.

Third Parties

We will not disclose your personal data to any third party unless you have agreed for us to do so in either digital or written form. If we are required by UAE law to share your data with any UAE government entity, we will do so.

Data Retention

There are certain reasons we may have to keep hold of your personal data. How long we will hold it for will vary and will be determined by the following cumulative criteria:

·       the purpose for which we are using it – we will need to keep your personal data while you are our customer and even after your works have been completed, but only in accordance with our data retention policies; and

·       legal obligations – laws or regulations may set a minimum period for which we have to keep your personal data.

Security

We ensure the safe processing and storage of your information at all times. We only use established software vendors and limit access to your data to critical staff only. We do not store or record any payment information ourselves as this is all managed via Stripe, FAB First Abu Dhabi Bank PJSC and Wio Bank PJSC.

Your Rights

In some circumstances, you may have certain rights in relation to the information we hold about you, including:

·       The right to request details of the information we have about you.

·       The right to withdraw your consent to the use of your information where we are relying on that consent (for example, you can opt out of receiving marketing messages from us). Please note that we may still be entitled to process your information if we have another legitimate reason (other than consent) for doing so.

·       The right to ask us to update your information if it is inaccurate or incomplete.

·       The right to request we restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances. Again, there may be circumstances where you ask us to restrict the processing of your information, but we are legally entitled or required to refuse your request.

This Privacy Policy applies to how we generally use your information in relation to our website and products and services. If you are signing up for our products and services, there may be extra terms and conditions. We will tell you about those when you sign up.
